The Mount Vernon Players is Knox County’s oldest community theatre group. Conceived in 1963 and incorporated in June 1964, the Mount Vernon Players thrive today, bringing multiple productions to several venues in Knox County every year. From plays to musicals, internationally acclaimed shows to original pieces written by members, the Mount Vernon Players have been providing quality entertainment for Knox County residents of all ages for fifty years.

As we plan and prepare for our landmark 50th celebration season (2013-2014), the Mount Vernon Players look toward the future with excitement, as we modernize our ticket sales, patron contact and communication methods.
